I built a 360 sled by following YouTube video. It works very well on my Dewalt table saw. I don’t think I will need miter gauge anymore.Accuracy is why I bought this kit, it takes out the looseness. I gave it 4 stars on value for the money, because it seemed a little high in priceWorks great! Takes out the play in the guide slots.Had to adjust a bit to keep it from binding in the table saw channels. Once it was done and mounted on the sled base, no lateral play at all!I found that the round head of the included carriage bolts do not fit inside the rounded portion of the stop block. This required me to grind them down a bit. Not a huge problem but certainly an preventable nuisance.Upon reading the instructions carefully, I believe most of the negative comments are in error and probably due to not following and understanding. This is a really great idea and i think it would solve problems for some people with non-standard miter tracks (or custom tables). I ordered UHMW tracks with came first, so I'm currently waiting for something i can use these adjustable rails on.After trying to make my own, fit sled, finally found this and after adjusting, it perfectly fits my tablesaw guides.I used this to build a crosscut sled. The sled didn't turn out exactly as I wanted, mainly because I designed it too small and without quite enough clearance between the blade and the fence, it cuts extremely accurately - much more so than my default miter gauge. These bars, when adjusted correctly, slide perfectly and smoothly with no play. The sled doesn't wobble at all and cuts are perfect and consistent. They are made of high quality materials. They feel good in hand, with nice smooth surfaces and no obvious flaws. They can be reused between many jigs and will probably last a good long while. Even if the edges wear with friction, you can always readjust to fit.Unfortunately, there's one problem, and I'm glad I didn't review them until I'd used them for a while. I sat my sled in the corner for a few weeks. I was too lazy to use it and was using my miter gauge instead, which I regretted due to how inaccurate it was and how much wobble it had. I finally gave in and removed my table saw guard and riving knife to use the sled, made a cut and... it didn't follow the line. The cut was diagonal. Further inspection revealed a lateral wobble in the sled, so that the blade was moving left and right within its kerf slot, widening it unpredictably and giving me bad cuts. The culprit was the miter bars. I checked the adjustment lock screws and they were both a bit loose. I had to readjust the width of the bars while they were installed on the sled (much more difficult than the intial setup). It was trial and error, but I got it back where it started. It cuts perfectly again, but now I know I'm going to have to check for play every time I pull out the sled, just in case.I don't know if this was due to wood movement or a design flaw, but it sucks. I still recommend these over wood sliders, because wood sliders are even more inaccurate, and you have to remove and replace them when they get expand or contract. I wish this didn't happen but I guess I'll deal with it.I haven't used the two included jig fixtures, but I hope to find something cool to do with them.I built a sled and was surprised how quickly the wooden runners loosened up. I bought these to address the issue and they seem to be working fine. The ones I received took a bit of fiddling with to fit snugly. A guy on you tube had a similar problem. It's good product however not better than home made jig for sled. I wish it was longer.I made a sled and tracks out of hard wood and used it for 5 years and then decided to buy this jig hoping this would be better. It's a pain to adjust and definitely not better than hard wood track. It's well made for sure but too short and will take several attempts to finally adjust. If I had to choose again I'd go and make a hard wood track for my sled over this expensive jig any day.EDIT: I've finally taken these off and made new ones with thick plywood. hardwood or plywood rails are far better and smoother and with no play. I got tired of the microjig o es as they are difficult to fine tune. The key problem is not just fine tuning however it's the very short length of the rails. If these were longer and ran entire length of the sled or table saw then they would be better. Imagine having really short rails and that causes the sled to always get caught on either side. These were totally useless for me.Piece of cake to set up and easy to useLooks great and would suit a standard mitre slot. Just wanted to make a quick review to let anyone know that it doesn't fit the slot on my Scheppach HS100S-P1. The slot is way too small. They work, but for what you get very expensive. Other types of less cost just as good.Good product
