I love Keds and have several pairs. I have very slender feet and prefer to buy narrow width when it is available. I can keep Keds in a 9 M or 9 s on my foot so I would say that as a company their shoes tend to run narrow. I heeded the advice of other reviewers and ordered these in a 9.5 and they fit right out of the box. I like the fit and the look. I usually wear my Keds without socks so if you would want to wear socks, particularly a thicker or woolen pair, I’d size up a whole size. I am removing a star only because I think that allowances should have been made by the company for the thicker lining. Inconsistent sizing irrationally irritates me but I love the shoes.
