I had never had a Pomeranian before and so wasn't used to their '2-layered' hair. I used the wrong tools. Everything looked fine from the outside, but then I noticed that the underfur was getting tangled and I couldn't properly reach it with the tools I had. Then I bought this comb and another brush. The comb did great work, got everything smooth again before it got really tangled. It reaches the underfur as well, and amazingly, the puppy loves to be combed. He never liked the other stuff I had. Which was, ironically, even more expensive than this comb and the other brush... So, especially for a Pomeranian, I can only recommend this comb.
