This dagger is both "BEAUTY AND THE BEAST". Beautiful Damascus Steel Blade and pattern. Big robust handle. This knife reminds me of the Roman "SHORT SWORD". I can not say anything about it's functions because I'm a collecter and it's going straight into a display case. Great looking and great fell. Must have for a collector and I'm sure it can be used in the field, but why would you???
