Description

While investigating the brutal death of his twin brother, a special forces veteran, a sexy psychic, an evil succubus, her oafish boyfriend, two mysterious aliens and the Michigan Militia inadvertently join forces against a Landfill of the Living Dead! Finally, by popular demand and through the wizardry of digital video compression technology, "Zombie Abomination AND Zombie Atrocity - The Italian Zombie Movies - Parts 1 & 2" are available together for the first time on a DOUBLE FEATURE DVD! At long last, you can see these smart, funny (and occasionally ridiculously gross) homages to and parodies of the surreal and sexist European horror flicks of the 80's in one double-feature sitting! That's nearly three hours of no-budget cult-movie "zombedy" fun for the price of one DVD. With so much 'movie' crammed onto a single DVD, we had to eliminate the amazing bonus features that are included on the individual releases, but you WILL get a brand new cast and crew commentary track not available anywhere else! So if you're ready for the JAW-DROPPING dialogue, CHUNK-BLOWING grossouts and GUT-BUSTING laughs that have been pleasing genre critics and film festival audiences around the midwest, pop in The Italian Zombie Movie - DOUBLE FEATURE DVD and enjoy! When sold by Amazon.com, this product will be manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media. Amazon.com's standard return policy will apply.

This one basically does for 1970's Italian horror what Lost Skeleton of Cadavra did for 1950's b-movies. Lots to like here - creative effects, hilariously authentic plot and dialogue, and music which is also spot-on to the source genre. Part 1 is slightly more of an homage than a spoof, although there's plenty of that too, while Part 2 is where things really get crazy. The cast of characters is surprisingly extensive, but none are really neglected and all mesh together fairly well. You'll find yourself laughing at and wishing harm upon them at the same time. Definitely worth checking out!
