I actually bought this for my trailer winch, it has plenty of length. There super thick and feel very well made for the money.Noticed the crunch and bind of tell tale “straight laid” wire strands which made me worry about internal kinks and breakages with manipulation and movement of wire sheathing.Overall, the plug ends are sturdy and tight connections. Wish it came with a 90 degree mounting bracket for the lead connection to the exterior of the vehicle instead of just two bolts through the plastic end case. Otherwise overall very happy with the construction, gauge and performance of these cables.Well, these cables are NOT 1 AWG they are 4 AWG wire.The insulation is thick and very flexible, that I like.With the quick connector rated at 175 amps these cables will not carry the advertised 800 amps.I would say knowing about these connectors that they can handle a surge of 200 plus amps.So, In conclusion, I will say I got my moneys worth.Makes jumping quick and simpleVERY HEAVY DUTY CLAMPS WITH BRIGHT LED LIGHTS AND 4 GAUGE WIRE. GREAT BUY!!installed on truck and it works great.I love that this lights up as soon as you squeeze the handles. My last one had to touch the battery to light up.Quality and valueThis works as advertised but is not copper wires; they are just aluminum plated with a bit of copper.As a booster cable they are fine but not for running a removable winch for long as the cables get warm.Mounting was a bit of a jugling act with where it would fit and still reach the battery. Installed now and used it a couple of times. Works good and convient.Well built flexible in the cold and the clamps don’t pinch my nipples too hard. Great for those outdoor play dates where having a good set of booster cables makes all the differenceSeems pretty decent quality. Haven't used them yet. Would be nice if they came with mounting hardware for the quick connection that you are going to leave say at the bottom of your grill or bumper whatever.great. Only issue I had was trying to find quick disconnect attachments so I can power other things, but there is no size chart. I ended up buying an ATV-sized connector elsewhere.
