I'd been looking for these for a couple of years since a friend received her pair as a gift....Most tongs areeither too tiny, don't grip well or just aren't designed to do the job. These may not be gorgeous, butthey work without fail!I know these are supposed to be ice tongs, but I got aggravated when my silicone tongs kept slipping off of pieces of chicken when trying to load my air fryer. That's when I found these at my local grocery store. Since then I have been looking for a second pair as I use them so much they are always in the dishwasher. I am so glad these are now on Amazon. They grab the meat perfectly and allow you to precisely place your items in the air fryer. And because they are not as long as the other tongs, they are easier to use. They have teeth with no slipping, and they work great!!I chose these tongs due to the opening width. The tongs were bought in addition to molds for spherical ice and I needed an opening width greater than 2.5". The tongs look fine, but the spring inside is not strong enough to return it to its fully open position. This sort of defeats the purpose if I have to manually reset the tongs to fully open. I may be able to squeeze one of the arms a bit so that the fit isn't so snug. Also, the rubber grips are not seated very well and want to separate from the tongs. I debated giving as high as three stars.I ordered 2 of theses - not a fan. The size is nice but they are sluggish when opening . Would not order again.My husband and I have been using these tongs for many, many years. We use them to turn steak and chicken on the grill, and for everything that requires a sturdy tong with teeth. None of my other tongs even compare to these tongs. These are so much better! The shorter handle makes it so much more comfortable to use!Don't know how long they'll last But I like themI’m not real sure what to say, except it is a jigger. I did test it for accuracy, and it does pour 1 and 1.5 ounces. It is easy to clean, very lightweight, and I am glad I could buy it here on Amazon and have it delivered instead of making a separate trip to the store.I bought this because the thin, sharp edge of stainless steel will not drip. It does not drip and that makes it a full 4 stars. I was remembering the jigger like this my dad had 20 years ago when I bought this. ( I replaced a god awful glass one with thick rounded top lip that always spilled and dripped.)4 stars instead of 5 because it is very thin. If I drop it, I am sure beyond a shadow of a doubt it will bend.But I could not find the thick walled version.
