I ADORE these pants. I so wish the came in more colors. The waistband is exactly what I need for my poochy belly. And, they stay up! Smooth, but not too thin.They do slim you down if you get a size smaller than you normally would. The waistband is nice and thick and does not ride down.I have always found Nancy Ganz shapewear from way back always dependable and works for whatever area it was designed for. You cannot go wrong, the problem is that it is not easy to always find, so when I do I grab two.These have a wide band at the waist which does the trick to hold in my tummy, and the leggings are longer than other brands I have tried and they did NOT shrink in the dryer!SlimmingI like the idea of tummy control but these are more of "waist" control. All the support is around the waist instead of holding in my tummy. They look a lityle more like yoga leggings.Really helps with broken back! Lifts and controls!Nice high waist particularly if you are taller. Compressive fabric.
