The CR2016 lithium cell in the key fob for my car became weak after 5 years of use. I bought a pair of Sunbeam brand CR2016 lithium cells from a "dollar" store to replace it. The battery came with a sticker on one side that had to be removed before use. Removal left a sticky substance on the "-" side of the cell. I tried my best to get the sticky stuff off, even tried Goo Gone, but couldn't get it all off. The cell seems to work but over time it became even more difficult to lock/unlock the car than it did with the original battery. I would remove the cell, clean it some more, and it would work better. I repeated this a couple of more times and finally decided to get a different brand of CR2016 cell. After looking through what was available on Amazon, I decided to purchase the "SONY CR2016 3V Lithium Battery 1PACK X (5PCS) Batteries". After installing the SONY CR2016 cell in my key fob, it once again works as good as new.These worked well right out of the package for my car remote my remote requires 2 button batteries to work so was happy to find a multi pack that worked and for a good price.
